Profound Change
Transformative Coaching
Coaching is a conversation with a purpose: it is a facilitative process in a safe, supportive space that helps people face their truth and find answers to their challenges through a collaborative, non-directive dialogue.
The dialogue that takes place during coaching sessions enables greater self-awareness and understanding. You will have the chance to pause, reflect, and sometimes be gently challenged, so you can see things from a different angle.
That shift in perspective often leads to new choices, and more importantly, the confidence to take them. This way, you will be able to move toward your vision and be empowered to create the future you desire.

Profound Change
Transformative Coaching is based on transformative learning theory. It goes beyond traditional models of Performance Coaching (which focuses on achieving specific, measurable goals) and Developmental Coaching (which centres on your learning and skill acquisition) by exploring your inner world of beliefs, assumptions, values, and expectations. The aim is to create a deeper, more fundamental shift in how you see yourself and the world. When those start to change, life begins to feel lighter, clearer, and you create new possibilities for your life.
For example, a performance coach might help you develop a strategy to get a promotion, while, as a transformative coach, I would help you explore the deeper belief that you aren't worthy of a leadership role.
Transformative coaching leads to more profound and lasting change, as it addresses the root cause of an issue rather than its symptoms. When you change your way of being, you will be able to create different outcomes in your life.
My Approach
I offer a coaching relationship where you are met with acceptance and care, while also being invited into honest reflection. Through a balance of support and gentle challenge, you can look more clearly at the beliefs and assumptions shaping your life, and decide what still serves you and what no longer does.
This way of working is influenced by Carl Rogers’ person-centred theory and the Socratic tradition of inquiry. Rogers highlighted the importance of unconditional positive regard in creating the safety needed for genuine self-reflection, while Socrates believed that clarity emerges through careful questioning rather than instruction. Held together, these approaches support insight and change without imposing answers.
Tailored Support
At MoMiCo, my knowledge of various psychological theories and models allows me to draw from a wide range of tools and techniques. Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor my coaching style and strategies to your unique personality and needs. This leads to more personalised and impactful results. My work is informed by structured models such as Transactional Analysis and Cognitive Behavioural approaches, and by the broader systemic perspective to understand relational patterns and context.

Transactional Analysis
Transactional Analysis helps you see the patterns and roles that influence how you think, feel, and relate, so you can make more conscious choices in your life. This way, you gain greater choice in how you respond, with more clarity and less reactivity.

Cognitive-Behavioural
This approach helps you identify and challenge the unhelpful thought patterns and beliefs that may be holding you back. By reframing negative thoughts, you can develop more effective habits and greater resilience.

Systemic
We will consider the broader context of your life (e.g., family, culture, and politics) to uncover hidden influences and creates holistic, sustainable solutions for your growth
During our sessions, I draw methods from these theories and tailor them in order to support you in the way you will feel supported the most. To ensure your safety and well-being, I place great emphasis on ethics, confidentiality, and professional boundaries. My psychology background helps me to recognise cases that are beyond the scope of coaching and when a referral to a mental health professional is necessary. In that scenario, I can provide referrals to qualified professionals. I am also happy to work alongside a therapist or counsellor to ensure you receive the most comprehensive support.
