About Me
Hello! My name is Monika Andrea Minaroy. I am trained as a psychologist (Leiden University, NL) and after years of living and working abroad, I created MoMiCo to offer reflective, one-to-one support for people navigating life away from home.
My mission is to use my unique blend of clinical expertise and lived experience to help you find a clearer sense of mind and a new way of being; one that feels true to yourself and aligned with your values.
What is coaching?
Coaching is a structured, purposeful conversation in a safe and supportive space, where you can slow down, be honest with yourself, and explore what’s really going on beneath the surface.
It offers time to pause and reflect, and at moments you may be gently challenged to look at your situation from different perspectives. This often brings clarity, new options, and the confidence to make choices that feel right for you.
During our conversations, I will not give advice or tell you what to do, and I don't offer ready-made answers. Even though I have a background in clinical psychology, I don't provide therapy, diagnoses, or psychological treatment. Instead, my role is to support your thinking. I do this by asking thoughtful questions and creating conditions for you to hear yourself more clearly. This is where insights, learning, and sustainable change tend to emerge.

What is transformative coaching?
Transformative Coaching goes beyond focusing only on goals or performance. It explores the deeper layers of your experience, such as beliefs, assumptions, values, and expectations that shape how you see yourself, others, and the world. When this perspective shifts, decisions often become clearer, life can feel lighter, and new possibilities open up naturally.


Initial appointment (Exploratory coaching session)
Our initial appointment is a free, 20-minute exploratory coaching session.
During this conversation, I’ll guide you through a short piece of coaching, so you can experience what coaching with me is like. This is not a full coaching session, but a brief, real introduction to the process. It’s also a chance for us to get to know each other and explore what you’re currently navigating.
There is no obligation to continue. Feeling comfortable and safe with the person you work with is essential, which is why this session is offered as an exploratory space.
If it feels right, we can then discuss possible next steps, such as the coaching package that might suit you best, or whether the walk and talk programme. feels appropriate.
All the things discussed during this appointment, as well as in our sessions, will remain confidential.
